I found the trail easily and rode its entire 20 mile length over a 2 day period. Smoothly paved, little to no debris. It's a nice trail for a long, leisurely bike ride. My wife and I did a century ride from Gaston to Richmond and back. Lots of road crossings, but beautiful countryside. But a great trail to ride. I couldn't even figure out where that Amtrak stop could have been! One feature which I appreciate is that there are porta-potties spaced at each of the frequent trailheads - about one every 3 to 4 miles in this particular section.
