A recent issue with my latest hardtop convertible filled me with the usual dread, contacted Cayman straight away after recommendation on a forum and reading reviews, friendly communication from initial contact - booked in for a consultation, consultation was fast and efficient (by the time I had walked to get a sandwich and eaten it I had a call to come back) - the lovely office ladies explained the required works clearly, including the limitations (in this case a water leak), prices were explained (and super reasonable when compared to a main dealer who wont even know what to do). However after the level of service and quick turn-around time I felt It was justified. He sent me off to a cafe round the corner and fixed the roof within the hour. At the end of the day the roof was completely fixed and working just as it had done.A lower control arm and other bits had beenreplaced at what I thought was a very reasonable price. You know as soon as you arrive you are in good hands and they don't disappoint. I can't say anything else except WOW. I had a problem with my Alfa Spider roof not working correctly. Error code telling my roof is not locked, with constant warning beep! Fixed in the same day. They also provided me with a soft top service, which involves regreasing the joints and checking the hydraulics for leaks, to make sure the soft top works at it's best. Unfortunately most garages have generic diagnostic tools that are not effective for diagnosing the faults for cabriolet roof systems and will not access the roof ECU. Check all is secure and drive carefully to a garage to find the roof fault and repair required. The hood of my wife's A3 cab was misbehaving after many years of faultless service.
